Beach Trip

Well, we just returned from our annual trip to Bethany Beach. It was very different having a one year old at the beach. We couldn't spend hours in the sun and had to go in the morning or late afternoon. It was nicer that way actually because it was less crowded. Hank liked the beach a lot. He got very excited when we put his feet in the water. I don't think he gets that he can't just crawl in the ocean though. Funny boy.
He liked the sand too but unfortunately he liked to eat some of it. He would lick it off his hand. Needless to say... sandy butt.
He is repeating more and more words lately which is exciting. He says mamamama and da a lot now and he says comb and dig. He doesn't quite hit the last syllable so well though.

Hank turns a year old

Here is a picture of Henry taken on May 27, the day before his first birthday. It has been an amazing year. He is almost ready to walk and he is changing in small ways every day. What a joy.

Well, it seems I am not much of a blogger. I never could keep a journal. Sorry Antonio. I might try again this summer but as of now it is not looking good.

My first post

Here is it, my first post. I have no idea if I will actually do this but let's try!
I barely have time to take a shower with the baby making constant demands for attention (damn baby) so how I think I will have time to blog, I do not know.
The funny thing about blogging is it assumes anyone cares to read what you have to say. Even if no one does, it might just be fun for me. So here goes!!
